PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BEFORE REGISTERING FOR CLASSES

Our Learn-to-Skate Program is available to children, teens and adults.  We offer classes and practice sessions for the basic beginner through basic free skate levels as well as hockey skating skills.

Our classes are taught by professional coaches and run in 8 – 12 week sessions throughout the year.  We also offer the opportunity for skaters to compete at our Annual Compete USA Competition and perform in our Annual Ice Spectacular.

We use email to communicate with those who enroll in our programs.  Therefore it is very important upon enrolling, to make sure to add nsscjc@nsskating.org to your email address book so that our emails do not go to your junk folder.  We will not share your email address with anyone outside of our organization other than Learn to Skate USA to which all enrolled skaters will belong.

All beginner skaters must enroll in beginner classes as follows:

Ages 4-7 should enroll in Snowplow 1

Ages 8-11 should enroll in Basic 1

Ages 12-19 should enroll in either Teen Intro or Basic 1. (Please note that Basic 1 classes may                               contain skaters as young as age 8)  Teen Intro skaters will be taught the elements as                         listed under "Basic Classes" below but in a class designed for teens.

Adults (Ages 18 & up) should enroll in Adult 1. (Adults are only eligible to enroll in classes

                       labeled "Adult")

PLEASE NOTE TIMES SPECIFIC CLASSES ARE OFFERED AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE.

Once enrolled, all skaters will be evaluated by the class instructor during their assigned classes and skaters who have not been assigned to the proper level will be moved to the appropriate level within their first two class days.
