The last day for late entries to the North Shore Open is May 11. The application may be found at the North Shore Open Competitors Page at the left. The summer skating skills clinic application deadline is Monday, May 14, 2012 (see below) The application is available by clicking here Postmark deadline is Saturday, May 26, 2012. Summer Skating Skills Clinic We are excited to offer once again the North Shore Skating Club Summer Skills Clinic. This is for the Basic 3 to Free 6 level skaters, from the age of 7+. (any skater who has passed their preliminary freestyle would not benefit from this program) The program will be held June 25th to June 28th from 9am to 3pm. It will include Group freestyle, power & edge, Artistry in Motion, Theater-on-Ice, Intro to Ice Dancing, Intro to Synchro and various off-ice activities to include Zumba and Cardio kickboxing which are some of the skaters favorites classes. We are also going to offer a costume design class at the end of the day for those skaters needing some down time. More details and an application can be found at this link. The ice reservation forms and policy for 2011-2012 can be found by following the Ice Schedule Link to the left. Fall/Spring ice runs from Tuesday September 6, 2011 until Saturday June 23, 2012. Reservations must be have been received by Friday August 26 in order for your contract to start in the first week. The North Shore Skating Club sent a large contingent to Bay State Games Feb 10-12 and took home 4 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 2 bronze medals.
